Building my financial wisdom

It's been 9 months since I first started writing about my journey in my financial education. I have read several books and would like to recommended those who are starting out as well:

1. Total Finance Make over - Dave Ramsy
2. Financial Peace / Financial Peace Revisited - Dave Ramsy
3. The Millionaire next door - Thomas Stanley
4. God own $ - Benny Ho

All the books above can be borrowed from the National Library.

In my own personal opinion, the steps towards financial freedom are small, disciplined and yet dependent. Some of those are :

a. Live within your means - budget, pay yourself 1st and rejoice with the remaining the Lord has blessed.
b. Save and Invest - Prepare the emergency fund, put aside a percentage for compounding
c. Give as much - Be a blessing cause in the end, we can't bring them along. Our children may not be financial wise to reinvest the amount.

Have a blessed day!

You are right. There are thousands of books on the subject of investments and a vast number of them I have read. Among the few that have not only impressed me, but have taught me a lot are the ones below..

The best of course is Reminiscences Of A Stock Operator - Edwin Lefévre which I have read and reread many times.and I strongly recommend it mainly because it offers a deep insight into market behaviour.
You can download these books free at www.stratstar.com
